Marston Hall | William Jewell College
Liberty, MO

Marston Hall is a historic structure constructed in 1914 that served as the science and math building until spring of 1992. Renovation has converted the facility into modern classrooms and faculty office spaces while retaining the character of the original structure.

Hollis + Miller Architects prepared preliminary plans and cost estimates for restoration and modeling of the building. Plans called for 14 classrooms for general use among different departments, as well as department faculty offices for nursing, education, English, history, political science, sociology, administration, development and continuing education, and public relations.  Within this space, there are specialized classrooms for computer literacy labs, nursing resource labs, and education model classrooms for both elementary and secondary education.

These areas were renovated in the existing four-story structure, as well as
physically linked with the new science technology facility.
